What is PhotoOpus?
PhotoOpus is a Danish virtual photo studio that turns an ordinary iPhone photo into an editorial team portrait. The whole team gets the same light, same backdrop and same style — without flying a photographer between offices. Built in Holbæk as a spin-off from OnDigital ApS, a Danish digital agency with roots back to letterpress printing in 1916.
Does PhotoOpus preserve the identity in the pictures?
Yes. The face is hard-locked — AI never touches facial features, eye colour, skin tone, glasses, age, hair, beard, tattoos, jewelry or company logos. What we change is the room around the person: light, backdrop and crop. If something still looks off, a photographer in Holbæk fixes it manually within one business day.
How long does it take to get a portrait?
The generation itself takes 2–3 minutes after upload. If the AI flags anything questionable we automatically route to our photographer — SLA under 24 hours on weekdays. You see a free preview before you pay.
What does PhotoOpus cost?
A single portrait: DKK 495 incl. VAT. Studio pack of 10 portraits: DKK 4,443.75 incl. VAT (DKK 444.38 per portrait). The LinkedIn Bundle (profile + signature + banner from one photo): DKK 995 ex. VAT. Larger teams (50+ users) get atelier pricing by agreement, including branded backgrounds, DPA and single sign-on. No subscription, no commitment.
Where are the images stored, and what about GDPR?
Files are stored on an EU server in Denmark. You own both the originals and the generated portraits. We offer a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) on request and right-to-erasure directly in the portal — soft-delete removes both the files and the database rows.
Can we use our own brand as the backdrop?
Yes, on the Atelier plan for teams with 50+ users. You send brand guidelines and one or more references; we train a custom style for you. Setup typically takes one week.
