So much in the art world is serendipity 

Tom Hoving, former director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and world renowned museum consultant, came upon one of my prints hanging on the wall of his friend of over fifty years.  Tom asked his friend if he knew the photographer.  He did.

"I had that shiver feeling. Orkin's works combined a breathtaking realism with a soaring drama -- and a dash of romance. I immediately arranged with the creator of the famous Naples Florida "Phil", Myra Daniels, to mount a show of Orkin's choice pieces. She, too, got excited, and made it happen."
