 High Rise Grandeur

"I have lived in the Seacoast Area of Maine and New Hampshire since 1972 when I came to teach in the school of business and economics at the University of New Hampshire.  Surrounded by rivers, lakes, the ocean, mountains, forests ... in short, grandeur that is unrelenting, the challenge is to avoid capturing the none too elusive cliche.  This, in part, spurred my expansion from representational photography to fine art images."

Nuble Light

Nubble Lighthouse sits on a "nubble" of land just off the coast.  The Lighthouse Keeper crosses from the mainland to the nubble in a gondola suspended from cables.  In 1977, NASA sent artifacts into space on board the Voyager II.  The artifacts were selected to teach extraterrestrials about life on Earth.  Among them was a picture of the Nubble Light.
