"I have been capturing images since before I was a teenager. Careers as university professor, software entrepreneur and systems consultant, fatherhood and marriage, have absorbed me and been my passions. Photography has been my companion through it all. Each time I return from a shoot, I feel like a kid on his birthday morning; anticipating surprises and envisioning new flights of creation in the images that await me.
"The digital darkroom is a doorway to experimentation and possibilities. The economy of the workflow encourages risks; fanciful trials are short and the gratification nearly instantaneous."

"Cape Neddick, on Maine's rocky coast, is picturesque, quaint, traditional, and stunningly beautiful.
"Like Sanibel, there are times of the day when the light augments in large doses and seals the essence of the place in the camera's impression."

"I live in two very different locations, each rich with images. Sanibel is 70% wildlife sanctuary, home to a dazzling assortment of birds.
"Compared to Maine and neighboring New Hampshire, it is low rise lush. Sanibel and its surrounding islands attract birds as home and a migratory stopover. Either way, they, in turn, attract photographers by the thousands."
